Weekly Bible Verse: 10

For we live by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5.7 (NIV)

Thank goodness that we live by faith and not by sight, am I right? Otherwise, it would be impossible to believe anything since we can hardly see anything. Think about it: the majority of what God does is not "visible" in the traditional sense. He Himself is invisible, proving again the importance of faith. It makes me laugh when I think about the phrase, "I'll believe it when I see it." That phrase might work in some cases, but it doesn't apply to the Christian life at all. We live by faith in God and what He promises, not by what our eyes can show us.
