Weekly Bible Verse: 9

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. 

Matthew 6.33 (NLT)

"Above all else" is a very difficult thing to swallow, but it should wake us up to the reality of how important it is to prioritize our relationship with God. Nothing else in your life should be more important than your faith and obedience to God's Word. Our pursuit of God's Kingdom should eclipse the rest of our lives. Family, friends, career goals, hobbies, etc. have to take a backseat to our faith. I challenge you to ponder your life and your priorities this week. Do they line up with what Jesus commands us here in this verse?
